We're good

Sometimes life feels great, and sometimes it doesn’t. But no matter what, taking time for yourself is essential. We learned this the hard way, through our own experiences with burnout and depression. Finding moments of rest at home, where we could recharge and spark creativity, helped us through those tough times.

Often, it’s the small, positive moments that keep you going—the feeling of doing something just for you. Simple pleasures that bring a sense of balance, like the Danish concept of hygge (coziness) or the Swedish idea of lagom (not too little, not too much, just enough). Our inspiration comes from the Scandinavian lifestyle, where comfort and joy at home are priorities.

At The Good Craft, we want to inspire more people to find those positive sparks in their daily lives, helping them create a home that supports their well-being.

  • Realism over toxic positvity

We don’t believe in toxic positivity. Sometimes life isn’t great, and that’s okay. If you’re struggling to get things done, that’s perfectly fine. Our products offer simple, manageable steps to help you create your own mindful home. We support you in lightening (and temporarily forgetting) the mental load, so you can focus on finding inner peace.

  • Embracing imperfections

We emphasize the process over the result. The act of creating itself helps you regain control, and your end result doesn’t have to be flawless—because ‘good enough’ is more than enough. We are actively trying to make people feel good enough, and embrace imperfect results.

  • Achievable steps, no overwhelm

Instead of burdening you with overwhelming tasks and high expectations, we offer small, attainable steps you can take immediately. You don’t need to be an experienced crafter. Also, we don’t overwhelm you with extra tasks like yoga, meditation etc.

  • A blend of creativitiy and mental health

What sets us apart is our unique combination of creativity and mental health within your own home. We focus on helping you engage in the process, not chase perfection.

  • Down-to-earth mindfulness for everybody

We believe time, calm, and mindfulness should be accessible to everyone. We steer clear of spirituality and the extremes of wellness trends, remaining grounded and practical.

  • Scandinavian design and simplicity

After finishing the process behind one of our products, you don’t have an ugly or unusable end result. Instead, surround yourself with beautiful, thoughtfully designed Scandinavian products that bring both functionality and aesthetic pleasure into your home.

You are enough

Stress, anxiety, burnout, or mental overwhelm—there are so many things that can take up space in your mind and in your life. In a fast-paced world where overstimulation is common, it's easy to feel the weight of expectations, whether from yourself or others. We often compare ourselves to the success we see on social media, making it harder to enjoy the small, simple pleasures in life.

Even at home, it can be tough to escape the feeling of not doing enough—whether it's unfinished chores or an interior that doesn’t look picture perfect. Over time, it’s easy to accumulate clutter or make impulse purchases in the search for quick comfort. Non-functional items that are made under bad circumstances. If you’re lucky they make you feel better for a short while, but somehow they never actually make you feel better.
